Happy freakin’ new year!

This is the first time I’ve ever really celebrated New Years.

It’s taken me 21 years to finally do it on my own and enjoy it.

We did mucho caminando esta noche!

It felt good.

I’ve never taken so much public transportation in one day…freakin’ crazy:

Started at Millbrae Bart –> Daly City.

Daly City muni to Taraval street to eat at a Hawaiian restaurant.

Took another muni bus to West Portal transfer station…

Then took the muni “party” train, squished like a bug, to Powell Street.

We walked from Powell Street all the way to the Embarcadero, then past Harrison.

I hate crowds.

I’m claustrophobic.

But tonight was alright.

It was quite the scene!

Took loads of fireworks photos on my cell, but the color didn’t come out so great.

Had such great fun with Angelo and Enrique — and then bumped into Phil and Sena on the Embarcadero!  15 minutes till midnight – What are the chances!

We all watched the fireworks in awe, while some floozy literally, sprayed 3 bottles of beer all over us + the rest of the crowd.

Yeah, thanks!  I’ll get drunk on my own, kthanxbye!

Which we ended up doing later –

Irish pub way the hell down on the Embarcadero, then caught the last 2am Caltrain back to Millbrae, while Phil and Sena kept traveling to San Carlos.

We all sat in the bike storage with a whole bunch of people, and one person puked, which made the boxcar(?) reek halfway.  But it was tons of fun, and people were happy — or passed out.

I’m just happy.
