New York: In a nutshell
Walkabouts
- Covered ground from West 86th Street and East 91st Street to South Ferry/Battery Park — Essentially, half of Manhattan.
- 12 hour days. Returned no earlier to the hostel than 10pm and as late as 3am.
- Took the subway on an average of 3-4 times a day.
- My most frequented subway line was the 1/Red line to 66th Street/Lincoln Circle and back to 42nd/Times Square.
