Juvenile Behavior
The girl wants to play,
eager for the day,
where she may get her way.
She waits in anticipation,
for an exhilaration,
that meets her expectation.
The connection…
and his effortless affection.
But she will stumble on a realization,
a devastation,
from her frustration:
She will never get enough.
And out of desperation,
she will taint the situation
and an emptiness will remain.
