A new start and a second chance to do things a *little* differently

Excited + Nervous = Anxious
I’m anxious to start the new job tomorrow.
A little stressed out.
Hoping sure that I bring everything that I need.
Also some snacks to make sure I don’t get rumble in the bronx. ^_^
I’m trying to remember what it’s like to work and get back in a professional working environment.
I don’t really want to remember though.
A new start means a new attitude and a new way of being and doing.
I can be different.
I don’t have to conform and bend over backwards for every little thing.
I don’t have to have a type A personality.
I don’t have to be a perfectionist.
There’s an excitement of being able to get my hands on something new to learn.
There’s something about being a noob that’s thrilling.
The inability to fail.
Because all you have to do is want to really try something and learn it –
and you learn.
If there’s any kind of complacency –
there’s laziness.
My goals for this new job are:
- Be myself
- Take time to relax
- Let go of imperfections
- Take breaks
- Laugh
- Make new friends
- Have a healthy balance between work and play
- Practice patience for everything
- Breathe deeply
This is what my new journey is about.
To sum it up: how to live life more fully.
Wish me luck, fun, and adventure!
